All our quality used engines are top and bottom end inspected by our trade qualified team on the Gold Coast, QLD.
Inspections Include:
• Turning engine 720
• External visible seal condition
• Intake manifold condition and clean if required
• Rocker assembly condition
• Camshaft condition
• Turbocharger compressor wheel condition
• Turbocharger turbine wheel condition
• Turbocharger vertical/horizontal play
• Turbocharger endplay
• Oil pan and any remaining residual oil checked for contamination and impurities
• Crankshaft condition
• Crankshaft endfloat
• Crankshaft thrust bearing condition
• Crankshaft main bearing condition
• Connecting rod bearing condition
Note: this is the general workshop inspection job card checklist. Individual engine models may undergo other checks not listed or forgo checks on this list dependant on visibility of components when inside, single use internal bolts etc.

Compatible engine models are also tested under varying load on our purpose-built engine dynos, monitoring oil pressure, turbocharger boost pressure, top and bottom water temperatures, exhaust temperature, smoke condition, and crankcase pressure (breathing condition/blowby).
